Pleasant is located in southwestern Ohio in Clermont County about 20 miles southeast of Cincinnati on the banks of the Ohio River.The town is most noted for being the birthplace of Union General and 18th President of the United States Ulysses S. Grant. Nature lovers flock to East Fork Lake and East Fork State Park located about 10 miles northeast of town.
