Founded in 1819, the University of Cincinnati offers a comprehensive selection of programs for both undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to more than 15,000 full-time undergraduates, there are more than 5000 part-timers and 6000 graduate students. The university occupies a 270-acre campus in downtown Cincinnati. The vast majority of undergraduates come from Ohio. The university participates in a number of intercollegiate sports at the NCCA Division I level and is particularly known for its successful basketball team.
