Vermilion is located in northern Ohio in
Erie County 35 miles west of
Cleveland on the banks of the Vermilion River and the shores of
Lake Erie. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 11,344, an increase of 217 since 1990.
For those that enjoy amusement parks, Cedar Point is just 20 miles to the west.
Local attractions include the Inland Seas Maritime Museum.
