William H. Taft National Historic Site |
Located on Auburn Av., this site is the birthplace and boyhood home of the 27th President and 10th Chief Justice of the United States. The Greek Revival brick house has four rooms furnished to reflect the Taft's family life 1857-77. Other rooms have exhibits depicting the Taft family and President Taft's devotion to his public career.
Open daily 10am-4pm; closed January 1, Thanksgiving and December 25.
