Located on International Road, this wildlife preserve sits on 10,000 acres of reclaimed mining land. The preserve and research facility provides an open-range habitat for threatened and endangered species from Africa, Asia and North America. Visitors can take a guided bus tour and view such species as the southern white rhino, Prezewalksi's wild horse, scimitar-horned oryx and North American bison. Visitors also can learn about the preserve's research and conservation programs. Open 10 am until 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday in May, September and October and Wednesday through Sunday in June July and August and on holidays (Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day).
