Founded in 1831, Xavier University is a liberal arts Jesuit institution affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church. It draws around two thirds of its student body from Ohio. A wide range of programs at both the graduate and undergraduate levels are offered. There are no fraternities or sororities. Popular majors include business and education.
