Franklin Elementary School houses kindergarten through 5th grade. It has 27 certified teachers on staff. Non-certified staff includes 2 secretaries, 1 full-time and 2 part-time custodian, a library aide, and 5 part-time cafeteria workers. The school offers a regular educational program to all students that include reading, language arts, spelling, math, science, health, and social studies. In addition to the regular educational program, Franklin is staffed with 3 Model IV intervention specialists who work with students that have been identified as 'at risk' of having special educational needs. All students take part in physical education classes, music, and art.
