Soft green clapboard siding still covers the home originally built by E.G. and Amanda Neff Thurmond while graceful Greek columns still guard the front entrance. The porch has been widened and now wraps around the house providing a lovely setting to enjoy the western Oklahoma scenery. The downstairs includes the front parlor, a library room and dining room where lace curtains, a subtle filter for the Oklahoma sun, are perfect backdrops for the blue and white color scheme. Upstairs are the four guestrooms, each with private baths and individually decorated, that open off the wide landing where an antique mahogany buffet is laden with complimentary coffee, soft drinks and snacks. Guests may also snuggle up in the upstairs sitting room. Guests are welcome to wander through the beautiful perennial gardens that include a small pond filled with fish.
