Algonquin Provincial Park

East of Huntsville and west of Pembroke. Accessible from Highway 60 in the southwest corner of the park where all facilities and services are. The park interior is accessible only on foot for hikers, canoeists, cross-country skiers, and backpackers. Facilities include year round car camping, and backpacking and canoe sites in season. Nature hikes, canoe outings, children's programs, special events, and lectures are available. The park includes the Algonquin Logging Exhibit near the east entrance and the Algonquin Visitors Centre.
