Ceremonial guards perform the traditional military ceremony, which includes the inspection of dress and weapons, the Trooping of the Colors, and the exchange of compliments between the old and new guards. Afterwards, the guards execute sentry duties at Rideau Hall. The Foot Guards and the Canadian Grenadier Guards perform daily at 10:00 a.m. from late June to late August.
