Kukagami Lodge

Located in Northern Ontario, Kukagami Lodge was built in 1938. They can accommodate 12 people comfortably with cabins for one or two guests and more. All cabins have washing facilities. This Lodge is an old-fashioned kind of place in a wilderness setting. They have no electricity and no running water. Oil lamps provide their light; washing and drinking water are provided in your cabin. Plus, they have a beautiful log sauna for bathing and relaxing.

Renowned for its sumptuous and creative meals. Some of the menu highlights produce from their organic garden, freshly picked or preserved. All meals are served family-style at one big table in the main lodge -- informal and friendly.

They do not have electricity, and are not readily connected to the Internet so please write or call. They are often out on the trails during the day so the best time to phone is in the evening. You can also leave a message (answering machine only) at (705) 853-4742.
