This museun tells of the men and women who have served and contributed toward the development of Canada, in peace as well as at war, from 1867 to the present. Exhibits recognize those individuals who have made historically significant contributions and also those who, serving without particular recognition, represent the lives and experiences of the vast majority. Featured are themed exhibits on the Riel Rebellion, both World Wars, and United Nations' peacekeeping missions.
