Presqu'ile Provincial Park

Presqu'ile, French for "almost an island", is a boomerang-shaped spit of sand and limestone that juts sharply into Lake Ontario. The park is a haven for migratory birds and monarch butterflies. Recreational activities include camping, boating, fishing, and swimming. Also, self-guided hiking and bicycling trails offer visitors the opportunity to view migratory birds and plant species.
