This park, bounded by the Niagara Gorge, the Niagara River and the escarpment, provides visitors with outstanding views of the Falls, which are illuminated, as well as extensive floral displays and plentiful opportunities for relaxation. The grounds feature a major collection of native and international plants, much of which is labeled. Landscaping, begun in 1837, includes a large rock garden, a hybrid tea rose garden, carpet-bedding displays, accented by lighting.
