Colourful characters from the past bring to life the daily aspects of life in a mid-19th century rural community. Themed events capture the seasons and cycles of the 1860s, from the planting and harvesting of crops, to the re-enactments of births, weddings and even funerals. From celebrations of Spring on the Farm to an annual Fall Fair, visitors are ensured a taste of life in Upper Canada. Horse-drawn wagon rides and children's activity center are available.
