The park is located off Interstate 84, 37 miles east of Portland. Facilities include 45 full RV hookup campsites, 5 walk-in tent sites, picnic area, restroom and shower facilities, and wastewater disposal station. Full hookup campsites include 30 amps electrical hookup, water, and sewage. Max RV, 60 feet. Recreational opportunities in the immediate area include hiking, bird watching, access to gorge trails, and many great places for natural photography. Ainsworth SP is on the .
