On the On the [mt_hood_loop], part of the [orcasbit]. This area is located just one mile west of Multnomah Falls in [i84] (eastbound access only), exit 28, (Bridal Veil), Angels Rest & Benson State Recreation Area features a picnic area and disc golf course. There is also a reservable group shelter. Activities at this park include fishing, swimming, birding and boating.

The Angels Rest Trail head is near the exit. Angels Rest is a steep and difficult climb through the forest to two rock promontories with Columbia River vistas. Birds seen at Angels Rest include; Gray Jay, Turkey Vulture, Ruffed and Blue Grouse.

Benson SP with its lake offers lowland birding opportunities. Visitors might see Wood Duck, Warbling and Red-Eyed Viero and Bullocks Oriole.
