This urban waterfront park in North Bend provides physical and visual access to Pony Slough and the Coos Bay estuary. Facilities include campsites, picnic sites, a bird and wildlife observation blind, and interpretive signs. Many species such as gulls, herons, ducks, and grebes can be seen here. Pony Slough has one of the greatest concentrations of wintering ducks on the coast and thousands of shorebirds migrate through the area every year.
