Douglas Ridge Rifle Club was founded in 1956 and sits on about 130 acres of woods, open meadows, and a 400 ft. ridge. Facilities include six ranges, and the club has a membership of over 800 people, supporting more than a dozen shooting disciplines. The 1,000-yard range is the longest long range in the state, and one of only a few on the West Coast. Douglas Ridge Rifle Club is handicap-friendly.
A variety of classes are offered, including firearm safety, personal protection, pistol and rifle classes, hunter education, and more. Hunter sight-in is available to the public on three weekends in September and one weekend in October.
