East Lake

East Lake is a popular recreation lake nestled in the caldera of the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. The lake is known for its large brown trout, as well as kokanee, rainbow trout, Atlantic salmon, and chub. The lake is fed by snowmelt and underground springs.
