Located in the original Surgeon's Quarters at Fort Dalles, 1857. The museum features Carpenter Gothic achitecture, pioneer memorabilia, and a collection of horse drawn vehicles.
Constructed in 1850, the Fort is geographically located on a trading and fishing center for Native Americans. Fort Dalles was the only US Army post between Fort Laramie (Wyoming) and Fort Vancouver.
