Golden and Silver Falls State Park

Not to be confused with Silver Falls State Park in Salem, Golden and Silver Falls State Natural Area is located 24 miles northeast of Coos Bay on the Coos River Highway.

A picnic area is situated along the banks of Glenn and Silver Creeks, and hiking trails lead to each of the waterfalls, which plunge more than 100 feet. Visitors can also hike to the top of Golden Falls for an eagle's-eye view.
