Wallowa-Whitman National Forest 28 miles from Haines. Eight sites for tents, trailers, or RVs up to 16 feet, with picnic tables, fire grills, piped water, and vault toilets available. Boat docks and launching nearby. Leashed pets allowed. No reservations. Open from July to mid-Sept. Contact the
