Halfway

Halfway is located in Baker County, east of Baker City, between Richland and the Idaho boarder along Hwy 86. This community is also situated along the banks of Pine Creek, East Pine Creek, Clear Creek and near Brownlee Reservoir.

Halfway was once a booming mining town, and was named for its location "halfway" between Robinette (now under water) and Cornucopia (which no longer exists).

Halfway is situated within minutes of snowmobiling, cross country trails and an hour from the Snake River to the east for boating and Fishing.
