The scenic 3.9-mile Horse Camp Trail offers access to the Red Buttes Wilderness Area and Echo Lake. The trail provides opportunities for fishing at Echo Lake. The Horse Camp Trail offers the opportunity for a 15 mile loop beginning and ending at the Horse Camp Trailhead. Contact the Applegate Ranger District for directions and/or more information.
