Oregon Health Sciences University is located in the rolling hills of Southwest Portland and has an enrollment of about 1,800. They are situated on the 116-acre Marquam Hill campus in Multnomah County. Student housing is available for 144.

OHSU educates health and high-technology professionals, scientists and environmental engineers, and it undertakes the functions of patient care, community service and biomedical research.

The Mark O. Hatfield Research Center and Doernbecher Children's Hospital are part of the makeup of the University.
