Pet Samaritan Clinic was established in the early 1900's to care for horses that were used to pull trolleys from the Willamette River into the Portland residential area. The clinic offers complete veterinary care to a wide range of smaller animals. It specializes in general health care (including yearly health exams and vaccinations), and medical/surgical care for cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, ferrets, rats, gerbils, hamsters, mice, reptiles, and pot-bellied pigs. The services includes preventative medicine, radiography, spay/neutering, dentistry, general surgery, geriatric care, endoscopic/ ultrasound procedures, electrocardiograms, nutritional consulting, management of skin problems/flea control, in-house laboratory tests, and feline leukemia/feline aids care.
