Location: About 5 miles east of
Fall Creek Lake, off Forest Service Road # 18. An excellent interpretive opportunity for the physically challenged. This 1/2 mile trail is paved and the interpretive signs are designed for the visually impaired to be able to touch read. Wheelchair-accessible restroom facilities and a picnic table are available as well as a large parking area for buses.
This trail is on the edge of the August, 2003 Clark fire. In the in aftermath of Clark Fire, where many old and second growth trees burned some dangerous tree had to be removed.
Johnny Creek Nature Trail is an opportunity to view fire damaged forest at first hand.
