Location: Take
Highway 126 to
Mapleton, at the intersection of Highway 126 and
Highway 36, turn left and drive about 1/2 mile and turn left at the landing entrance.
Facilities include Toilets, Boat Ramp.
The headwaters of the Siuslaw River are in the Coast Range Mountains. Above this landing, the river is fast and shallow, but downstream, a quiet and calm river all the way through Florence to the Pacific Ocean. Since there are no towns or communities between Mapleton and Florence, boaters enjoy good fishing and the pastoral views along the way.
