McKenzie River

As it flows westward from high in the Cascade Mountains, the McKenzie parallels Highway 126 and passes through several communities like Blue River and Vida on its way to meet the Willamette River near Springfield. The river is a favorite with anglers as well as rafters.

Among the developed recreation access areas are Ben and Kay Dorris State Park, Hendricks Bridge State Wayside and Armitage State Park.
