The Mid-Valley Arts Council relies on support from the community of the mid-valley region. Although MVAC recieves support from the City of Salem, Oregon Arts Commission, and the National Endowment for the Arts, budget restraints have caused significant decreases in government support of the arts. Despite such odds, MVAC moves forward in its challenges that a new century are sure to bring.More then ever, MVAC is looking to the citizens of Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties to continue supporting successful programs that seek to celebrate human excellence and creative expression of the highest order.
