The Mt. Fanny trail system runs through forested, mountain terrain. There are excellent opportunities for viewing wildlife, and several point offer panoramic views of the Grand Ronde River Valley. The trail is also used by equestrian riders and mountain bikers. Mt. Fanny Riding Area is located off Hwy 82 north of La Grande. For more information, contact the Walla Walla Ranger District.
