Mt. Hood Community College is located in
Multnomah County, with an anual enrollment of about 27,000.
MHCC opened their doors in 1966 and currently occupies a 212-acre main Campus along with satelites at Maywood Park Center, Thompson Center and evening education centers at district public schools.
Responsive to the needs of its growing community, MHCC offers a solid base of 125 two-year transfer and career-training programs and much more. The college also serves as a cultural center, a meeting place and a convenient resource for the surrounding area.
Student success is the top priority at MHCC, demonstrated by a model guided-studies program, a broad range of developmental education offerings and a regular system of follow-up studies on graduates. Among the Certificats offered are "Graphic Arts Technology-Digital Copy Preparation and Hospitality, as well as Tourism Management.
MHCC offers athletic scholarships in basketball, baseball and track/cross country, among others.
