Nehalem Fish Hatchery raises chinook and coho salmon, rainbow trout, and steelhead. Spawning activity and adult fish viewing are available October - February. A covered indoor display provides information. Access to a fishing platform for steelhead and salmon angling is available for those with a Wheelchair License, Blind Angler's License, Disabled War Veteran Angling License, or Permanent Disabilities Permit.
Umbrella Falls is 1/4 mile from the hatchery. Nehalem Fish Hatchery is on Hwy 53, 11 miles from Hwy 101 and 8 miles from Hwy 26 (Sunset Highway).
