The Oregon Coast Council for the Arts (OCCA) provides arts for all citizens and visitors to the Oregon Coast. OCCA serves as the managing agent for the Newport Performing Arts Center in Newport. The Performing Arts Center houses two performance theatres: The Silverman Theater, which seats 393, and the smaller Studio Theatre seating 100. These two theatres bring dance, music, film, lectures, readings, and live performances to the only performing arts center on the central Oregon Coast.
