Woodcarver Bill Goldman, who whittled wood creations owned by Mark Hatfield and Lyndon Johnson, has a museum in which you can see many of his works.
Items include carvings of cowhands and riverboat gamblers, placed in humorous Old West settings.
Open Monday to Saturday, 9 to 5, and 1 to 5 on Sunday, admission is $1 adults, 50 cents children. Go west on Hwy 20, a mile past Tumalo to Gerking Market Road, then follow the signs.
