Pittock Mansion

Built in 1914 by Henry Pittock, founder of the Oregonian newspaper, the mansion was unoccupied for years and fell into disrepair. It was later taken over by the City of Portland, restored, and turned into a park. The views from this Northwest Portland location are famous.

Many Historic Houses have been preserved throughout Oregon.
