Mary Gilkey Library, serving an area of 2,100 residents, has a collection of 9,600 books and periodicals. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public. Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $300. Patrons make 11,500 visits annually, and check out materials 5,400 times. Twenty-three percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
