Portland Center Stage, the largest repertory theater company in Portland, established itself as an independent organization in 1994 after six years of being the Portland branch of Ashland's Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Elizabeth Huddle, PCS presents seasons of classics and contemporary plays.
