Free Willy-Keiko Foundation | |
The Free Willy-Keiko Foundation was incorporated in early 1995 as a non-profit organization to engage in educational and scientific activities which contribute to the protection of marine mammals and their habitats. The Foundation was established by the Earth Island Institute with a principal goal of directing the relocation, rehabilitation and possible release of Keiko.Initial support for the Foundation came from grants from Warner Bros. and New Regency Productions--producers of the movie Free Willy--and from the Craig and Wendy McCaw Foundation.
