Orcas eat a variety of ocean animals, especially salmon, herring, and squid. The diet of some killer whales also includes seals, sea lions, walruses, sea otters, dolphins, sea birds, sea tutlres, and even other whales.

With a mouthful of 40 to 48 sharp, three-inch teeth, killer whale are the top predator wherever they go; only humans hunt them. An adult killer whale consumes 100 to 300 pounds of food a day.
