The Friends of Fishermen's Bend is a private, non-profit organization which supports the operation and management of Fishermen's Bend and its other outlying parks. By encouraging volunteerism from people of all ages, it helps to provide support with the labor and funding of major and minor projects throughout the various recreation sites. It offers volunteer houses including 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with washer, dryer, and internet access.
