Approximately half the units are owned by couples who use their Rainbow Rock Condos as a second home, while spending the balance or their time in their other residence in Southern California or other states. The land consists of approximately 14 acres surrounded on two sides by the Pacific Ocean, an Oregon State Park on the north, and the scenic coastal highway on the east. A private beach trail accesses secluded beaches. All new units from the developer have been sold, only resale units are available. The first unit was completed in 1984, and the last building in 1991. There are usually units for sale that are both furnished and unfurnished.
