Rogue River Bridge

Search Visit Oregon
Famous for its fishing, the Rogue River has a Wild and Scenic section extending from Lobster Creek, about 10 miles upriver, almost to Grants Pass. Jet boats travel upstream and rafts head downstream. A number of resorts are located near Agness. Most fishing is done within the lower 10 miles.

I.L. Patterson Memorial Bridge was the first in the country to be built with prestressed concrete in 1931. With its seven arches of reinforced concrete, this McCullough design is very beautiful at night, outlined with blue fiberoptic lights. Wedderburn is on the north side of the river.
