Southwest of Portland in Pacific City, make a sharp right at the light and drive nine miles past Cape Kiwanda to the Sand Lake Store, where you turn left on Gallaway Road. On the shore of the lake there are 101 sites for tents, trailers or RVs up to 30 feet long with additional room in the east and west parking lots if park is full. Picnic tables, fire pits, piped water, and flush toilets available. Leashed pets permitted. Open year round.
