Sandy River Fish Hatchery raises coho salmon and features a small indoor display area with aquariums. A trail runs through the grounds, and there is fishing access to the Sandy River.
Take Hwy 26 east from Portland. Go through Sandy and turn left on Ten Eyck Rd, then onto Fish Hatchery Rd. The hatchery is one mile ahead.
