The Siskiyou Mountains are located along the border between Oregon and California, extending inland from the
Oregon Coast.
The Rogue River cuts through the Siskiyous on its way to the ocean at Gold Beach. Farther south, the Kalmiopsis Wilderness protects large areas of old growth forest.
