Just south of Mile Post 171, Stonefield, situated between Florence and Yachats on Highway 101, has easy beach access. Named after a pioneer family, Stonefield is a popular location to watch for whales and enjoy a sunset. Two fenced-off gravesites mark the final resting place of members of the Stonefield family.Day use only, no restrooms. This is a great place for flying kites.
