The 3.1 mile Sugar Pine Trail follows Sugar Pine Creek to its confluence with Coalmine Creek. Wildflowers such as dogwoods and rhododendrons offer brilliant displays of wildflowers in the early summer months. The trail is accessible June through October. Hiking during the early spring or late fall is not recommended due to high waterflow. Contact the Prospect Ranger District for more information.
