Three Sisters Wilderness

The 242,400-acre Three Sisters Wilderness lies partly in Deschutes National Forest and partly in Willamette National Forest. Elevation varies from around 2,000 feet to the over-10,000-ft peaks off the Three Sisters--North, Middle, and South. Approximately 260 miles of trails, including 40 miles of the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail, are found in the wilderness. Trailheads can usually be reached by McKenzie Pass - State Rt. 242 and by the Cascade Lakes Highway.
